Powder-sugar Cut-out Cookies

Responsible Cookie Person:  Kate, Ryuhei

Team Member: Hidemi

We make this cookie at Christmas time and also for various events such as Valentines Day.  (make in shape of a heart).

FIRST, together, you three will make the batter, then divide it into portions and refrigerate.  Get started right away, because it needs to stay in the fridge for at least 45 minutes before you can roll it out.  While you are waiting, you will work together to make Hidemi's German Chocolate Caramel Bars.  When they are in the oven, you will get the dough out of the refrigerator, one portion at a time, so it doesn't warm up until you are ready.  Then you will roll out these cookies, cut them out using cookie cutters, bake them, let them cool, and make the frosting and decorate them.  It is a little complicated, but fun and very delicious.

Don't worry.  I'll help you, and it will be fun.
